Someone on my table won the full house fair and square. Rather than being awarded immediately they wait for the next runner up and then made them have a dance off. Our mate gave it her all while the runner up stepped from side to side. In the end the winner was decided based on the loudness of the screams in the room. The runner up won as she had a party of 12 and we were only 3. The host even said that despite the fact she was the best dancer the runner ups table was louder.. what is the point in making a fool if yourself if it will boil down to who is the bigger party? Then to add insult to injury our bill was wrong with 3 added drinks to the bill. They took these off after 2 conversations with the server. There are plenty of other bingos in London which are much funnier such as That's Drag in Brixton.
Honestly I don’t even know what I was thinking when I booked this experience with my Best Friend. If you’re under 40 don’t bother showing up. Entertainment was average however it will cost you an arm and a leg for the drinks and food. They even charged us 40% VAT for the food and drinks we got, which is unbelievable. If you are mad enough to participate in the games they offer, feel free to waste your money and come here.
We went on Saturday 30th Sept. We had a great night, really enjoyed Victoria Sponge and the music was good! Service was also very good but we found the person calling the numbers quite irritating - she didn’t say them clearly and the DJ didn’t seem to care that much so put whatever number he thought he heard so there was a lot of duplicates and missed numbers. Apart from that we had fun but I don’t think I’d go back again.
I love Dabbers. Been to City venue a few times now, and it's always busy and lots of fun! Good drinks selection, tasty food and fun bingo! Staff always helpful and friendly. Bring friends along for a great evening - Thanks guys
Highly recommend the bottomless tacos + a glass of prosecco deal - it was really good value for the amount of food and the quality.
We tried all 4 tacos, but our favourite was the ox cheek taco which was meaty and melt in your mouth. You also get some cheesy nachos for the table too which was a nice surprise!
Music choice fit the vibe, garage tunes are a bop.
Thanks to our server Thea for being so attentive and friendly, made our experience very chilled and pleasant!
Maybe we’ll be back for some bingo next time :)
Great place, lots of fun!
What a great fun evening! We went to Dabbers in Hackney last night, was greeted by Taylor who was lovely and very attentive, great host! They had Victoria Sponge drag act on which was amazing! Would highly recommend 👌 😀 …
Absolute banger of a night, highly recommended for all Elder Emo’s brilliant night!
